Suns stretch their lead
Ethan Read marks the ball just to the right of the posts, before playing on to kick his second goal for the Suns.
An earllier Bombers’ behind had reduced the Suns’ lead to two points, but it stretches out to eight following Read’s effort.

It’s no surprise the Bombers and Suns are barely split on the scoreboard.
The inside-50s count is level-pegging at 28 apiece, while the Bombers narrowly lead the contested possessions, 65-64.

Bombers capitalise from free kick
The Suns gave away a free kick inside their defensive 50, and it was a costly one indeed.
Xavier Duursma kicked truly from the set-shot that followed, giving the Bombers a three-point lead at the main break.

Bombers strike early
Jade Gresham gives the Bombers a positive start to the second term.
A poor clearance from the Suns inside their defensive 50 was pounced upon by the Bombers.
The ball transferred through various sets of hands, before Jordan Ridley stabbed a kick to find Gresham inside the 50.
Gresham completed the assignment for the Bombers to reduce the Suns’ advantage on the scoreboard.
