EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — After a day of tough battles all around, Rutgers tennis unfortunately fell to No. 57 Northwestern on Letterwinner Day, 4-2.

Doubles

The Scarlet Knights secured the doubles point on Sunday afternoon.

Pair Mai Nguyen and Zuzanna Frankowska were the first to finish their match, claiming victory, 6-3.

It was up to duo Naomi Karki and Stella Schmitz to claim the point for Rutgers, going down to the wire in a tie-break. After fighting hard, they won for the Scarlet Knights, 7-6 (7-2).

Singles

Returner Zuzanna Frankowska was the only Scarlet Knight to earn a point for RU after a major comeback on the fifth court. She won her last two sets to claim victory, 1-6, 7-6, 6-0.
