Warriors prop Jackson Ford and Panthers playmaker Nathan Cleary have opened up a gap on the chasing pack in the Dally M Medal race with outstanding displays in Round 7.
Ford ran for 239 metres and made 49 tackles to pick up five votes in the Warriors’ win over the Titans, while Cleary’s snared three votes as he guided the Panthers to a golden point victory over the Dolphins.
Manly speedster Tolu Koula, Souths’ four-try hero Latrell Mitchell and Roosters skipper James Tedesco all collected the maximum six votes in Round 7 as a host of quality players look to close the gap on Ford and Cleary.
