But Danny does Dennis Sutton in your top 40, tested like crazy.
Insane.
so, what else did you like about him that made your, top 40?
it w- it w- th- this is, Like I’ve, I’ve liked his tape for a couple years, and it felt like this year he Like, ’cause, ’cause if you, if you wa- if you watched him for the past few years, like, every, every game was like, “Man, who the hell is this 33?
He’s big as hell, like, they’re moving.”
Yeah.
y- he’s, he’s got a w- like, some great movement skills, got some power, and been kinda waiting for the breakout, and it kinda happened this year as Penn State became, like, this wholly irrelevant football program.

Yeah.
you know, firing James Franklin- Just a mess this Northwestern, and everyone was like, “All right, well I’m done watching this.”
but I, I, I think, like, when you There’s a lot, there’s, there’s like, like, a, a, a projectable baseline with him where you could say this, like, this could definitely turn into a starter caliber player.
You know, I don’t, I don’t think th- this is, like, a, like, a number one lead off pass rusher or anything, but as someone He’s, like, 6’6″, 260, with high-end numbers in the vertical jump, broad jump, ha- had a, a low 4.6 40-yard dash, and when you look at him, like, you can see, oh yeah, you could put 10, 15 more pounds on this, and then, like, you’re really upping, the positional versatility here.

I, I, I, I think his best spot in the NFL is probably, like, like, true hand-the-dirt defensive end.
Uh- Yep you know, I, I don’t know- True 4-3 D end.
Yep.
True 4-3 D end.
Yep.
You know, not, we’re not, we’re not trying to drop you in coverage a bunch.
Like, you’re true, you know, born and bred defensive lineman.
but when you look at his production, you look at the traits, he’s played a lot of football, but he’s not like this guy who, like, played, you know, who, who sat, like, two years and had a bunch of- Yeah red shirts.
Like, he just got there and played through, and I, I think when you, when you start thinking about how old some of these prospects are, I’ve definitely started to weight guys who can get in there early and play, and then get out in the timeframe that we were used to.

He, he played 55 career games, and it wasn’t, like, a fifth-year guy doing it.
It was ’cause right away he played 13 games as a freshman.
Okay, there’s a reason he played 13 games as a freshman at Penn State.
Like, that, that’s- Yeah not nothing.
Like, I know that’s narrative scouting, but that’s not nothing.
You have to look at that stuff.
definitely with quarterbacks of all positions, but edges too, and especially at a school like this.
he has 23 and a half career sacks, he had eight and a half last year.
That’s solid production.
He, like you said, he looks the part.
I mean, he’s 6’6″, 33 and a half inch arms, 10 inch hands, ran the 4.63, 1011 broad.

I said- That’s insane I look at nine nine is the cut o- is, like, the, my threshold for, like, okay, I wanna see above that.
1011, a full foot above that, and then had a- That’s DD range.
Yeah, and then had a 6.93 cone, which is, for my threshold for that’s 7.2.
So all right, i- if you have a- above that broad and you have below that three cone, I’m gonna look at you, and I’m gonna have you high, and if you have- Yeah feet that’s not awful, yeah, I’m betting on you in day two
