The Roosters have announced their senior representative teams for matches being played this weekend.

NSW Cup Team (Round 24):

Sydney Roosters NSW Cup Coach Brett Morris has named his team to play 10th placed North Sydney at North Sydney Oval on Sunday. The Roosters are currently in 6th place and need to keep winning to keep their finals hopes alive.

After being 18th man for the Roosters last weekend, Ben Johnson returns to the side at right centre. To accommodate this change, Reece Foley moves from centre to lock and Jake Elliott goes from lock to the bench for Tyler Moriaty, who drops out of the 17 for this week.

The only other change is due to the return of edge backrow forward Hayden Barton. Barton replaces Aston Warwick, who moves to the bench, with Rhys Dakin losing his spot on the bench.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 24):

Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg Cup Coach Dean Feeney has named his team to play ladder leaders Melbourne in Melbourne on Saturday. The Roosters are currently in 8th place.

There are currently two changes to the team that beat South Sydney last Sunday. Bo Piesley has been brought back into the team at five eighth, coming in for Darcy Smith, whilst Kiwi Jackson Stewart returns at right centre, which leads to captain Will Malloy moving from right centre to right wing and Joseph Currie dropping out of the 17.

However, the bench is yet to be named and once finalised, an hour prior to kick-off, may differ from that used against the Rabbitohs (Aholoka Toia, Kynan Toevai, Zack Visconti and Fanafou Seve).

NSW Women’s Premiership Team (Round 7):

Central Coast NSW Women’s Premiership Coach Nathan Anderson has named his team for Monday night’s clash with competition leaders Newcastle in Newcastle. The Roosters are currently in 8th place.

Returning to the team, after missing last week’s match against South Sydney, are centre Katelyn Whitehead (study leave), winger Logan Fletcher (concussion) and interchange player Anabelle Ross (study leave). Whitehead replaces Shenae Cassidy in the centres, who goes back to the bench, whilst Fletcher comes in for Jordan Guest, who drops out of the 17. Lillie McLean and Zoe Lee drop off the bench to make way for Cassidy and Ross.

In the forwards NRLW development player Mahlie Cashin swaps with lock Luca-Bella Ngature-Ongley, with Ngature-Ongley named this week on the bench for Cashin.

Shawden Burton (hamstring) and Manisha Seebeck (back) have been named on the extended bench and may be late inclusions in the final 17.
