Over the past 48 hours, the St George Illawarra Dragons have parted ways with three key figures of their front office, but more changes could be set to occur sooner rather than later.

Heading into the ANZAC Day clash on Saturday afternoon against the Roosters, the Dragons enter with a 0-7 record in what has been the worst start to their season in club history.
Still aiming to clinch their first victory, the Dragons decided to make multiple tough calls in the past two days.
This included parting ways with head coach Shane Flanagan, assistant Michael Ennis and GM of Football Ben Haran.
However, veteran Code Sports journalist David Riccio believes that the trio may not be the “only heads to roll” as they look to re-establish themselves as a premiership threat.
“You can ask me what went wrong with Shane, you can ask me what went wrong with Anthony Griffin, what happened with Paul McGregor. It’s endemic in that football club,” Riccio said.
“They have failed for so many years now to nail their recruitment and promote their own within their own backyard and to hold on to those in their own backyard.
“The mere fact that we’ve got this point in time and they’re looking under the hood and looking at every person in that business.
“I don’t think Shane Flanagan and Ben Haran will be the only heads to roll once the Dragons are finished.”

After Riccio revealed that more changes to the front office could occur sooner rather than later, NRL 360 co-host Braith Anasta pressed on about who could depart next.
“Who else is there? Who else is going to roll?” Anasta said.
To which Riccio replied, “I think high performance, I think their football structure, as far as their pathways program.
“I honestly think this has to be a turning of the page moment for the club.
“Shane Flanagan’s only another Anthony Griffin (and) only another Paul McGregor. It just keeps happening.”

In stating that changes need to be made from the pathways program to the very top of the club, it is understood that success won’t occur until these changes happen.
“You’re saying all these people are all underneath the leadership at the club. You can’t just keep getting rid of people underneath,” Anasta continued.
“And probably you’re right Braith. It is about the dysfunction at the highest level,” Riccio added.
