Major League Rugby looking to expand reach in the U.S.
It’s a huge year for football fans here in North America with the World Cup starting in less than 2 months from now. And before we know it, the men’s Rugby World Cup will be taking place in the United States in 2031, for the very first time. Domestically, Major League Rugby has a new CBA in hand – the first for professional rugby in the U.S. – as the league looks to advance the state of play for the top young players in the U.S. Will Hooley, the former MLR star, who played for the USA at the 2019 World Cup, and now hosts Sunday Night Rugby on ESPN+, joined CNN World Sport’s Patrick Snell
