A building-wide takeover during Milan Design Week 2026

During Milan Design Week 2026, Convey, framed as a leading event for the new wave of design companies, scales up into a full spatial takeover with Convey Building. In its fourth edition, the project occupies an entire building, built in 1958, at Via San Senatore 10, near Torre Velasca. For one week, the structure is reconfigured as a vertical exhibition across four floors and a rooftop terrace, where circulation becomes part of the experience.

Instead of a single curatorial narrative, the project unfolds room by room. Each brand takes over a defined space, producing a sequence of distinct environments rather than standard booths. Furniture, textiles, lighting, and material research sit side by side, with participants including Patricia Urquiola, Stefan Diez, BIG-GAME, Panter & Tourron, and Zaven, alongside emerging studios and independent designers.

Convey shapes a sequence from room to rooftop

Movement through the building defines the visit. Corridors compress and release into different atmospheres, shifting from dense installations to more domestic setups. The absence of a fixed route allows visitors to build their own path, closer to a series of studio visits than a conventional fair layout.

The experience culminates at the panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Acting as the social core of Convey, it hosts informal gatherings and activations, extending the exhibition into a shared, open-ended setting. Conceived by the international creative firm Simple Flair, Convey continues to evolve its format within design week. The transition to a single-building setup offers a more immersive alternative to the dispersed Fuorisalone model, concentrating brands, audiences, and events into a compact vertical destination.
