Jahream Bula has denied his injury was anything serious after he was forced to leave the field against the Raiders late in the match.

With 11 minutes left at Leichhardt Oval and the Tigers leading 26-14, Bula was spotted walking down the sideline holding his wrist.

A replay showed Bula was attempting to break a tackle when he extended his arm out and fell awkwardly.

The fullback was smiling with the Tigers trainer as he left in a sign it wasn’t cause for too much concern.

“It didn’t look like anything wrong in the tackle but he’s just fallen awkwardly on his arm,” Phil Gould said on Nine.

Nine’s Danika Mason revealed minutes later the injury was a shoulder problem due to hyperextending his arm. The fullback was captured his ice on his shoulder and a jacket over him.

Post-match, Bula allayed any fears that he could be out for a long period.

“It’s all good, hopefully back next week, nothing too serious,” he told Nine’s coverage.

In his press conference after the match, Benji Marshall confirmed the injury was “no worse than last week” where Bula had also had a shoulder issue.

“We’ll have to have a look at it,” he said.

“He seems to be confident for next week, so we’ll see.”
