Coachella was a blast for a lot of celebrities — just not for Adam Scott.

During the April 22 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Severance star opened up about heading to the festival and having what he called a “terrible” time in the desert.

Adam explained that he ended up there after his 17-year-old daughter, Frankie, “somehow” convinced him and his wife, Naomi Scott, to take her and four of her friends. “She never asked us,” he said. “It just became a thing we were doing, and so we did it.”

“We were there for like four days,” Adam continued. “We dropped them off and picked them up a couple times, and then also one of the days we actually went to Coachella and went inside.”

“It’s probably exactly the same — I just now hate it,” he shared.

While Adam, 53, said he enjoyed seeing the Strokes, other parts of the experience were underwhelming.

“That was great,” he said. “But then that ends, and there’s nowhere to go. Like, there’s nowhere to lay down and relax while you wait, because then we wanted to see someone else, and Justin Bieber was performing… which was terrific. And when that ended, it took us an hour just to find Frankie and her friends.”

“We find them, we get them in the car, and then we were in the parking lot for two and a half hours just to get out of the parking lot,” he said. “And like, we went to bed at, like, 5:00 am.”

Unsurprisingly, his comments quickly went viral, with many people saying they fully related. “I feel all of this in my bones.” one person wrote on Reddit. Another added, “Hes so real for this.”

“He’s Such…..A DAD,” someone else joked, while another agreed it was “a delightful dad grump thing to say. I’m not a dad (or a man) but going to a music festival with a bunch of teens and twenty year olds sounds like torture to me, too.”

Others called Adam’s comments “so genx.””As someone not in their 20s, I fully agree,” another shared. “I used to be able to party all night, catch 3 hours of sleep, wake up, eat a greasy burger and do it all again. Now being outside in the elements for hours without a soft place to land, hydrate, fuel, and rest sounds miserable. I’m too old!”So, if you’re over 40, would you go to Coachella, or has this officially scared you off? Let me know in the comments.
