Toptracer has long set the benchmark for driving range technology, but its latest release signals a meaningful shift in accessibility. The launch of Toptracer GO, priced at $1,699+GST per month in Australia, positions the brand’s “scan and swing” system as a practical, scalable solution for a far broader range of facilities.
At its core, Toptracer Go strips away complexity. A single camera unit can cover up to 50 metres of tee line, allowing venues to introduce ball-tracking technology without the infrastructure typically required for full-range systems. For golfers, the experience is equally seamless: download the Toptracer app at the range, scan a QR code, and start hitting. Within seconds, every shot is tracked and delivered directly to your phone, carry distance, ball speed, launch angle and more, creating an immediate, data-driven feedback loop grounded in real outdoor conditions.
“We built Toptracer Go to remove friction, for both the operator and the golfer,” said Toptracer President Scott Blevins. “At $1,699+GST a month, we’re opening the door for more facilities to offer a premium experience, while giving golfers a simple, instant way to get meaningful data every time they step on the range.”
For venues looking to build on that foundation, the system can be paired with optional 21-inch bay screens (up to 9 bays) to add a shared visual element that complements the mobile experience. It gives operators flexibility, whether the goal is a clean, cost-effective setup or a more immersive, entertainment-led range environment.
The concept has already been proven on golf’s biggest stages. Throughout 2025, Toptracer Go was featured on practice ranges at the PGA Championship, The Open Championship, and the Ryder Cup, where fans could access real-time player data with a simple scan.
From a commercial standpoint, the numbers are compelling. “At a $1,699 price point, a venue selling large buckets at $25 needs just two buckets per day to cover the cost of Toptracer Go,” said Toptracer Australia representative Jay Simpson. “When you consider that ranges typically see a 30–50 per cent uplift in visitation following a Toptracer installation, often more, it becomes a highly compelling proposition.”
Toptracer Range is already established in close to 40 facilities across Australia and New Zealand, with that footprint expected to grow to nearly 50 by year’s end. Globally, the technology powers more than 1,500 ranges across 38 countries.
Toptracer Go, however, is less about scale and more about impact, bringing meaningful performance data into the hands of everyday golfers, and in doing so, redefining what a standard range session can be.
