Jimmy Kimmel ripped into President Donald Trump ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in seriously brutal fashion.
Each White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a comedian is normally selected to host and given the opportunity to roast the president and other key figures. However, since Trump, 79, will be attending for the first time as president this year, that custom has been removed from the evening, which Jimmy found to be problematic.
“At the Correspondents’ Dinner, typically someone funny shows up and roasts the luminaries and the president and everyone, but our president is a delicate snowflake with the thinnest fat skin of any human being ever,” Jimmy said during his open monologue on Thursday, April 23, night, before branding him a “trembling drama queen.” Jimmy’s remarks came after Governor Gavin Newsom eviscerated Trump with a 2-word jibe.

In honor of the previous tradition, Jimmy did a mock version of a Correspondents’ Dinner roast, where he stood behind a podium, addressed the audience as if they were guests, and then blasted the president.
In his roast he took shots at Trump’s former association with Jeffrey Epstein, his previous alleged affair with Stormy Daniels, who he is alleged to have paid $130K hush money to during his 2016 presidential campaign, and his genitals.
Jimmy had his audience roaring with laughter after called Trump “mushroom d–k,” referring to Daniels’ previous description of his appendage.

Even though Jimmy wanted to see Trump be roasted at the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Paramount Skydance CEO, David Ellison recently wanted to honor him.
David hosted a special dinner to honor Trump and the White House correspondents on April 23 ahead of the annual White House Correspondents Association Dinner on Saturday, April 25.
David’s dinner was invitation-only, and held at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C. It must be noted the David’s function happened amid the massive merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance. The business deal is anticipated to see an eye-watering $111 billion exchange hands.

David’s invitations explained an “intimate gathering,” according to the media-industry newsletter Breaker.
According to recent reports, during Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ dinner, Trump is prepared to clap back at the White House media as he plans to confront them in person.
Daily Beast reported that Trump is “expected” to go after publications that have written negatively about him, his administration and how he’s handling the Iran war.
