The Perth Bears are reportedly set to sign Bulldogs flyer Jonathan Sua on a four-year deal ahead of their inaugural season in 2027.
Zero Tackle reported Sua has agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Bears commencing in 2027.

It is one of the longest contracts the Bears have on their books ahead of their first campaign in the NRL, which shows how highly Mal Meninga regards the Bulldogs winger.
Sua has made two appearances for the Bulldogs in 2026 and was a standout in their loss to the Broncos in Round 8.
The 21-year-old progressed through the Bulldogs’ pathway system and has caught the eye of multiple clubs with his elite finishing and try-scoring.
He made his NRL debut in the final round of the 2024 season against the North Queensland Cowboys, but did not feature last season.

Off-contract in 2026, Sua has been free to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1 last year.
However, Sua has decided to join the Bears revolution in the West and has been rewarded with a monster four-year deal to continue his career in Perth.
