Injury Report

Essendon’s updated injury list ahead of round eight.

Essendon will regain the services of Mason Redman via the VFL this weekend, the experienced defender recovering well from his early season meniscus tear.

Key forward Archie May has avoided serious damage to his MCL after landing awkwardly during the second half of the Anzac Day clash. The 21-year-old will be a test for the early Saturday fixture against Brisbane at Marvel Stadium.

As reported on Monday, Isaac Kako has been ruled out in the short-to-medium term due to a stress injury in his back.

Meanwhile, Brayden Fiorini has made gradual progress with his back in recent weeks. He remains in rehab, with a clearer return-to-play timeline to be confirmed once he returns to skill-based training.
