Cadillac will mark its first Formula 1 race on home ground this weekend by switching to a special, one-off livery.
The team will replace its usual asymmetric design with a different look which is remains substantially monochrome, but features a few red and white highlights which the team calls a “subtle statement of pride” in its background.
Drivers Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will also have special race suits for this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix.
Teams often produce special designs for Miami’s round of the world championship. Ferrari and Racing Bulls have used different liveries at this race for the last two years in a row, and Sauber (now Audi) also produced a one-off design for the event 12 months ago.
