Oscar Diaz has delivered a brutal warning to Nikita Tszyu, telling him that he’s going to take him out early when they lock horns in Newcastle on Wednesday night.

Just months on from his infamous fight with Michael Zerafa, “The Butcher” heads back to “Tszyu-castle” – where he throws down with his first world-ranked opponent.

Speaking at the official press conference for the bout on Monday, the undefeated Spaniard said that the former steel city will have to change it’s nickname.

“After Wednesday they are going to be calling it Diaz-castle,” he said.

When asked for his opinion of Tszyu’s former fights, Diaz was blunt.

“I’ve watched all his fights, he’s never taken on a man like me,” he said.

“I’m going to take him out early.”

Nikita only smiled at the prospect.

“It’s easier said than done,” he explained.

“You have to have self-belief. I’ve experienced this all before. Everyone says they will take me out — and they haven’t yet.

“There will be unknowns in this fight and we will eventually figure it out.

“I like seeing the belief [in opponents], because you get to see it fade. Its one of the sweetest things.

“I get to hurt people and do it legally — a little loophole in my psychopathic desires.”

Elsewhere, two other fighters on the stacked Main Event card threatened to steal the spotlight with a fiery exchange.

Hunter Ioane explained that his rival Kyron Dryden had snubbed him when he went to shake his hand.

Dryden needed little invitation to explain his actions.

“I don’t need to be your f**king friend,” he yelled.

“What are you here to do to me [on fight night]?”

Ioane fired back at Dryden and the pair stood up in their seats and appeared like they might get physical.

“Let’s go,” yelled Dryden.

“I’m going to knock you the f**k out.”

Ioane warned Dryden about his language.

“Have some respect there’s kids here,” he said.

“But bring that same energy tomorrow.”

Main Event’s Ben Damon later instructed officials to “cut their microphones” before moving on with the press conference.

Aussie rising star Callum Peters had a respectful exchange with his American opponent, Joeshon James, but assured fans to expect “fireworks” when they square off.

“This is a big step in the pros,” said Peters.

“This will put me more on the map – both here and overseas.”

James said he can’t wait for fight night

.

“It’s only me and him in the ring, may the best man win,” he said.

“Who dont wanna fight a guy like that? It’s exciting.

“I know he’s dangerous – it’ll bring out the best in me.

“I’ll be leaving with a lot of 50 Cal fans on Wednesday night.”

“But he has said some delusional stuff.”
