Donald Trump has dismissed plunging polls numbers over his presidency and the Iran war, as “fake”.
Speaking from the White House during a business event, he commented on voter surveys showing Americans increasingly unhappy with the conflict.
“They give me fake polls,” Trump said.”They did a poll on the war with Iran, and they said only 32 per cent of people like it. Well I don’t like it and I don’t like war at all, but we’re equipped better and we have the greatest military in the world.”
Trump’s disapproval rating has skyrocketed to a record 62 per cent in a new Washington Post‑ABC News‑Ipsos poll, while his overall approval slipped to 37 per cent amid low ratings on the war, inflation and the cost of living.
