The Rolling Stones – Foreign Tongues.

The Rolling Stones’ new album is imminent.
The Rolling Stones are well into their seventh decade as a rock ‘n’ roll phenomenon and are still at the top of their game when it comes to building up anticipation for a new record.
The band revealed back when they released Hackney Diamonds in 2023 that they had plenty of leftover material for a snappy follow-up, but in recent days, weeks and month they’ve been ramping up the expectation.
There was the pseudonymous poster campaign and even a limited edition 7″ single ‘Rough and Twisted’ from The Cockroaches.
Then a global billboard campaign promising Foreign Tongues in well, foreign tongues.
And now The Rolling Stones have unveiled the album cover, using a quirky sliding tiles puzzle to reveal the just-as-quirky final image.
The caption on the Instagram post reads 5/5/26 5pm BST / 6pm CEST / 12pm ET / 9am PT
So there’s clearly something big happening today.
And a visit to The Rolling Stones website reveals another interesting bit of promo.
Rolling Stones Studio Surveillance System.

The landing page seems to be a CCTV security room type setup, where fans can flick between nine cameras of a so-called ‘Studio Surveillance System’.
The details are light and all “cameras” are currently showing blank footage, but our guess is that come 5pm this afternoon, there’ll be more to see there.
While it’s not yet been officially confirmed, it’s been wildly reported that the planned release date for Foreign Tongues is July 10, 2026.
