LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men’s basketball will renew its longest-running rivalry in program history, announcing a two-game series against in-state foe BYU over the next two seasons.
The Aggies and Cougars will meet next season on December 9, 2026, at the Marriott Center in Provo. The teams will then play a neutral site contest at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City in 2027, with the exact date to be announced. Each program will be allotted 50 percent of the available tickets for that game. More information on tickets will be made available prior to the 2027-28 season.
This will be the first time Utah State and BYU have faced off since 2021, renewing a series that spans 238 games and dates back to the 1905-06 season. BYU is Utah State’s most-played opponent in school history, ahead of Utah (223 games). The Cougars lead the all-time series 146-92.
