Celebrities Unedited At 2026 Met Gala: Photos
And as is the case with every Hollywood event, it wasn’t long at all before unedited photos of celebs on the iconic beige carpet were compared to the pictures they posted on their personal social media pages. For example, Beyoncé — who made her first Met appearance in 10 years — went viral after professional close-up photos of her body beneath her skeletal, sheer gown appeared noticeably different from the images she posted on Instagram.
To be clear, Beyoncé looks INCREDIBLE in both her Instagram photos and those available on Getty. But in a world where heavy photo editing is so normalized, I find it’s always nice to be reminded that celebrities look equally beautiful — and, perhaps, more human — in unfiltered, candid photos.
