Amazon has launched Amazon Haul in Australia, adding a new online store within its shopping app that offers hundreds of thousands of products for under $25.
Haul — already available in the US, UK, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and the UAE — features fashion, beauty, homewares, pet supplies and lifestyle products. According to the company, items are shipped directly to customers, with delivery typically taking less than two weeks.

Amazon Australia country manager Amit Mahto said the new offering is part of the retailer’s continued focus on value and competitive pricing.
“Australians seek out value and convenience when they shop online, and we’re excited to provide more options through the shopping app they already know and love,” he said in a statement provided to SmartCompany.
To mark the debut, Amazon is offering 60% off all Haul products for the first two weeks, reducing many items to under $10. Further additional discounts for orders above $40 are also being offered to shoppers for a limited time.

The retailer said items purchased through Amazon Haul can be returned within 15 days if they meet change-of-mind conditions.
“Since launching Amazon in Australia in 2017, we have been constantly innovating to provide competitive prices and the best possible shopping experience for our customers,” Mahto said.
The service is currently rolling out in beta to select Australian customers. Those with access can find it by searching “Haul” in the Amazon Shopping app or via the main menu.

A full rollout is expected in the coming days.
The local launch of Haul comes two months after Amazon rolled out its B2B marketplace for workplace essentials in Australia.
The new online marketplace promises business-only pricing and volume discounts on office products, electronics, furniture, and other on-the-job essentials.
The launch of Amazon Haul also comes at a pivotal time for the online shopping landscape in Australia, with Australia Post’s quarterly e-commerce report revealing online consumers are more willing to spend than 12 months ago due to easing inflation and rate cut hopes.
Since then, the Reserve Bank of Australia has also reduced the cash rate by 25 basis points, bringing it to 3.6%.
Amazon Haul could also prove to be a competitor to ultra-low-cost retailer Shein, which reported a record $1 billion in sales in Australia in 2024, and Chinese e-retailer Temu, which is also welcoming Australian sellers to its platform as part of a marketplace expansion.
