Celebrities were spotted strolling the streets of New York City and returning to their apartments in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, following this year’s annual Met Gala.
The star-studded bash turned New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art into the world’s most glamorous red carpet event on Monday evening, with A-listers, musicians, athletes, artists and designers coming together for charity – and donning eye-opening fashion statements.
Heated Rilvary star Hudson Williams was filmed strutting through the city in a pair of silk boxers at 7am, with his celebrity entourage in tow.
The 25-year-old was joined by ‘I Love La’s’ Odessa Zion, who was heard saying “I don’t like this” before running out of view from lingering paparazzi.
William’s co-star Connor Storrie, was also snapped arriving to his apartment at 6am, amid rumours the pair were the “very last to leave” an exclusive GQ after-party.
According to Page Six, Williams and Storrie were basically “inseparable” throughout the night, which, given the pair’s very recent introduction into the world of Hollywood, only makes sense.
“They were weaving through the room hand-in-hand and, at one point, even sitting on each other’s laps, laughing like they had the place to themselves,” a source told the publication.
Reportedly the pair helped shut down the party, making their exit around 3:30am.
“Williams and Storrie were among the very last to leave,” the source said, adding that they left “long after most had called it a night.”
Some of Hollywood’s favourite figures made appearances at the event, such as singer Olivia Rodrigo, who reportedly took shots at the bar amid her suspected break-up.
After closing out the GQ event, Williams and Storrie were said to have hit an after-after party at Baz Luhrmann’s bar Monsieur in the East Village.
Other celebrities spotted at the A-lister’s bar were fellow Aussies Margot Robbie and Miranda Kerr, as well as Gracie Abrams and Maude Apatow.
“Baz was the life of the party, dancing with Margot Robbie and her friends on banquets,” a source told Page Six.
Elsewhere in the city, Met Gala lead sponsors and honorary co-chairs Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, were reportedly spotted attending the YSL after-party after midnight.
“Once inside, the couple let loose and Sanchez, who is known for dancing on banquets, showed off her moves,” a source said.
This year’s gala and its after parties appeared to follow a relatively cohesive memo of ‘barely-there’ outfits with nipples taking the centre stage.
Vera Wang’s look consisted of a low-rise black skirt with a single strand of fabric that travelled from her waistline, attached to a Rudi Gernreich choker around her neck.
Underneath, the 76-year-old wore nothing but a black bandeau top, putting her torso and arms on full display.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted for a relatively similar look, both bearing fake nipples and corsets.
Kylie’s nude corset had prosthetic breasts and belly button and an attached dress that appeared to be slipping to the floor, while Kim Kardashian donned a monochromatic plate with pointed breasts.
Model Gigi Hadid wore a custom sheer Miu Miu dress that was reportedly built on to her body just two days prior to the event.
Alleged newly-engaged Zoe Kravitz went for a sheer black lace with a sweeping neckline.
The lavish evening raised a record-breaking $42 million (USD), with the Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos believed to have contributed $10 million alone.
