Atlassian chief executive Mike Cannon-Brookes says the software giant will make a profit next year, ending a run of losses dating back to its first year as a public company, as it introduces a new pricing model aimed at cashing in on the use of artificial intelligence.
In an investor briefing at Atlassian’s annual customer conference in California, the tech billionaire admitted the company had struggled to explain to the market why its AI products are better than others in the software sector.
