Hugh Jackman has quietly relisted one of the marital homes he shares with ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness in the lead-up to his Met Gala debut with Sutton Foster.
The Wolverine star’s appearance at the annual charity event alongside his new beau is said to have been gutting for Furness, who attended the Met Gala a number of times with Jackman during their 27-year marriage.
Furthermore, Jackman, 57, and Foster, 51, went public with their romance in January last year, however the timeline of their relationship has long been the subject of speculation, with the couple starring opposite each other in The Music Man on Broadway in 2023, when they were both still married to other people.
Furness, 70, previously told Daily Mail of her split: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
Now, it seems Jackman has dealt yet another brutal blow to his ex-wife, relisting one of the couple’s properties just weeks before taking to the Met Gala red carpet with his rumoured fiancée.
The former couple, who announced their split in September 2023 and finalised their divorce in June 2025, are still in the process of dividing their shared assets, one of which includes their New York apartment.
The West Village home, which boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, was put on the market on March 31, just over one month before Jackman and Foster attended the first Monday of May.

It was initially listed for $57.7 million in 2022, but Jackman, seemingly desperate to offload the property, has since cut down the price to $41.5 million.
The couple bought the apartment, which spans three floors, back in 2008 for $29.1 million and, according to property records, still own it together.
Jackman is said to have given Furness a heads-up before attending the Met Gala with Foster, but that “did not make it any easier” for the Shame actress, according to a well-placed source..
“Of course it burns to see Hugh there with Sutton on his arm. That was always their special night of nights and one of the few she actually enjoyed,” an insider told Woman’s Day.
“Hugh did let Deb know he would be taking Sutton this year, but that only proves he’s fully aware of how much it will sting to see him with the women who stole his heart from her.
“But Hugh’s starting to find a bit of backbone and isn’t pandering any more to hurt feelings over Sutton.
“She’s here to stay and he has every intention of making her a permanent part of the family.”
