Watch as Senior Writer Ed Easton Jr. speaks with NFL Films producer Jeff Cameron. He reflected on the memorable sound bites and footage from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes during his 2022 battle with Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby.
“When a moment like that happens, you know you have something special in that moment in particular. I remember when it happened, of course, NFL films, we knew that (Patrick) Mahomes was mic’d up for the series at the time, but no one else did,” said Cameron, “I remember people were trying to guess what he was saying. People threw in a voice for him, as if he were saying those things. It was just funny, sitting back for those four or five months, being like, we have the actual audio, and we’re just very eager to show people that we had it and put it in the show. What an all-time moment.”

Cameron, a longtime NFL Films producer, directed HBO’s new documentary ‘The Shuffle’ based on the 1985 Chicago Bears’ iconic song and music video.
