Police say a man is “assisting detectives with their investigation” into the death of a woman whose body was found outside a block of units overlooking Henley Beach, in Adelaide’s west.
SA Police say the woman was 65 years old and from the north-eastern suburb of Wynn Vale.
Her body was found on the Esplanade early on Thursday morning.
Police say a “male associate from the address” is speaking to them.
“Western District CIB detectives and Forensic Response investigators attended and examined the scene,” they added.
On Thursday, police described the woman’s death as “unexplained”.
On top of asking for witnesses to come forward, police have asked anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, or any other information that may assist the investigation, to contact Crime Stoppers.
