With millions of Aussies all across the country working from home, it’s never been more important to have the right setup.
While you might be able to get by with a dining room chair and a laptop, having all the gadgets and furniture that create a good work environment can be a game-changer.
That’s where Officeworks comes in.
The stationery and furniture juggernaut wants to make it cheaper by dropping the price of more than 400 items.
“With interest rates and everyday costs continuing to put pressure on household and business budgets, customers are looking for dependable value on the products they use most,” Officeworks managing director John Gualtieri said.

“We’re seeing customers shop more intentionally — purchasing more frequently but keeping a closer eye on what goes into each basket.
“That’s why lowering prices on the products they buy regularly can make a meaningful difference over time.”

This comes off the back of a recent price drop in February, where more than 1,000 everyday items were reduced at the checkout.
Officeworks said this latest batch of products is perfect for those who work, study or run a business, and includes desks, chairs, stationery, and workspace essentials.
What’s even better is that these price drops aren’t temporary; they’re permanent.
If you’re an Officeworks for Business customer, you’ll be able to receive an extra 5 per cent off reduced items. OnePass members will also get free delivery on eligible Officeworks orders.

“Whether it’s helping a small business stay productive, supporting students in the classroom, or keeping households organised, Officeworks is focused on delivering practical value for Australian customers every day,” John added.
When will Officeworks drop prices?
They’ve already landed.
Customers should already be able to notice the lower prices in-store and online.
They’ll stay that way permanently, and Officeworks could end up reducing another set of products in the future.
In the February price drop, parents could buy a typical school essentials basket for 20 per cent cheaper than before.
“[That’s] money that can go back into groceries, bills or kids’ activities,” John said.
“We’ve focused on the items they repurchase most often, because that’s where lower prices have the greatest impact and savings build over time.”
