Aussie-founded production company sets its next US network show.
Production of The Masked Singer USA is shifting from FOX Entertainment Studios to Aussie-founded Eureka Productions.
Eureka, which has both Australian and US bases, has previously produced US shows including Holey Moley, Stars on Mars, Frogger, Name that Tune, The Floor, The Mole, The Quiz with Balls and upcoming Wonka: The Golden Ticket (several of which were shot in Australia) will move production of Season 15 from Los Angeles.
Deadline reports that Eureka is keen to cement a deal for the production in New Jersey. The Garden State offers production tax incentives of 30% on qualified expenses with up to 40% on certain studio projects. New Jersey, unlike California and many other states, also accepts unscripted in its tax incentive scheme.
It will also allow for celebrities based on the US East Coast including Broadway performers.
The US series is hosted by Nick Cannon with Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rita Ora as judges.
