Holly Humberstone is heading to Australia this November to warm up the stage for her pal and ‘Seventeen Going Under’ duet partner Sam Fender, and now she’s announced a set of more intimate sideshows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.Â
The British singer, who catapulted to fame in 2020 with her warm, vulnerable songwriting, has gone from strength to strength in recent years.Â
Since dropping acclaimed debut (and feature) album Paint My Bedroom Black, Holly’s kept things pumping, not only by supporting Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour but an EP and set of collabs with MUNA, Medium Build and Tiny Habits.Â
And with co-signs from Girl in Red, Olivia Rodrigo and the 1975, she might be your favourite artist’s favourite artist — or at least, their favourite artist to sample an iconic Real Housewives fight in a track.Â
Catch her for yourself at Naarm’s Max Watts on Thursday 13 November, Meanjin’s The Triffid on Tuesday 18 November and Eora’s Factory Theatre on Sunday 23 November, in addition to her arena serenades before Sam’s set.
Tickets are on sale Monday 18 August at 11am, with an artist and Secret Sounds presale on Friday 15 August at 11am. Find more details on Secret Sounds’s site.Â
