Poll: How Will Time Off Affect Red-Hot Knicks?

Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks completed their four-game sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday to advance to the Eastern Conference finals in the NBA playoffs. The average margin of victory in those four games was more than 22 points — and that was after New York closed out a first-round series win over the Atlanta Hawks with a 51-point demolition.
Overall, the Knicks have won seven straight playoff games and are as hot as a team can be. Problem is, now the Knicks must wait to see who their next opponent will be. The No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons have a 2-1 lead over the No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers in their Eastern Conference semifinal series. Game 4 is tonight in Cleveland (8 p.m. ET, NBC/Peacock). If the series goes more than five games, then the Knicks’ next game won’t be until next week.
The time off will help the Knicks, since they have a key player nursing a hamstring in OG Anunoby. On the other hand, momentum is a big deal. So…
