The NFL is pulling out all the stops to ensure the 2026 season has the best Thanksgiving slate ever.
It was confirmed earlier this week that a Thanksgiving Eve game will be played this fall. The Green Bay Packers will visit the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25 in what could be a potential playoff preview. This game will be streamed on Netflix.

The NFL’s schedule for Thanksgiving will consist of the following three matchups:
While there’ll be plenty of hype surrounding the Bears-Lions and Eagles-Cowboys games, we expect the Bills and Chiefs to generate the most buzz. After all, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes never disappoint when they square off.

And just in case the games don’t live up to the hype, the NFL once again has a Black Friday game on its schedule.
The Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to square off on Nov. 27.

“Say goodbye to your family before Thanksgiving,” Warren Sharp said. “The most deadly serious Thanksgiving slate I’ve ever seen this is ridiculous.”

Judging by the reactions online, NFL fans can’t wait for the 2026 season to begin.
“Someone write my family and tell them I love them cause I will not be leaving the couch,” one fan commented.
“I’m not even exaggerating, but this can be the best 48 hours of football in the history of the sport,” another fan wrote.

“Man this is a great slate of games. My Raiders can’t ruin my turkey day this is a DUB,” a Raiders fan added.
