An NRL coach has reportedly been caught monitoring his players using a Instagram burner account after players were tipped off unveiling his identity.
Code Sports reports a current NRL coach created a secret burner account on Instagram to monitor the behaviour of his players.

According to the report, players involved only learned their coach is behind the burner account in recent weeks after tip-off from a club source.
They then carried out their own research and realised the account in question was following a host of players in the team.
One is said to have reacted by jokingly threatening to block the account.
It is understood the coach had created the profile to monitor the behaviour of his team.
TITANS ENFORCER INKS LONG-TERM DEAL
The Titans have received a massive boost with breakout enforcer Arama Hau inking a long-term extension at the club.
The 21-year-old back-rower has scored five tries in 17 games for the Titans since his debut in 2024, including four in matches this season.
The deal will keep him at the club until the end of the 2028 season.
Titans coach Josh Hannay said Hau’s extension was a strong endorsement of the club’s ongoing commitment to developing homegrown talent.
“Arama’s signature is crucial as we continue building a team that not only plays on the Gold Coast but plays for the Gold Coast,” Hannay said.
