Regardless, the point is that not all games on a team’s slate in the NFL are built the same. Of the upcoming 17 games for Buffalo in 2026, which of those bring the most to the table?
Here is Bills Wire’s three best games for Bills Mafia next season:
Week 2: vs. Detroit Lions, 8:15 p.m. (TNF)
Each and every year it’s something of a national holiday in Buffalo: the home opener. That will be the case again in 2026 but with the well-known caveat… this is the first game that will be played at the new Highmark Stadium.
Week 12: vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 8:20 p.m., (Thanksgiving)
In recent years, here is another date circled on the schedule seemingly each year. The Bills and Chiefs have entertained the entire football world for a long time now and we all expect that to happen again in 2026.

And not to mention, this time it’s on Thanksgiving.
Week 16: at Denver Broncos, 4:30 p.m. (Christmas)
Facing the Broncos already had a few reasons for excitement in Buffalo. At the top of that list is this being a playoff rematch as Denver knocked Buffalo out of the postseason in an upset last year.
And again, we have some holiday cheer involved. The NFL is trying to take over Christmas and is attempting to in 2026 with the help of the Bills.
