The Buffalo Bills have named 97 Rock WGRF-FM as their new flagship station for broadcasts, returning after 14 years.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills announced Friday that 97 Rock WGRF-FM, owned by Cumulus Media, is now the official flagship station for Bills broadcasts in Buffalo.

This will be the first time in nearly 15 years that a Bills game will be broadcast on 97 Rock, who was originally the Bills flagship station from 1998-2011. In Syracuse WSKO The Score 1260 will be the affiliate station. Other stations in Rochester and Southern Ontario will are expected to be announced soon.

“As we move into Highmark Stadium, we look forward to bringing Bills games back to 97 Rock and expanding our reach to even more fans across New York, as well as Southern Ontario,” said Pete Guelli, Bills president of business operations. “This new partnership ensures Bills fans will enjoy a best-in-class broadcast experience each and every game day.”
Returning to the Bills broadcast booth is Chris Brown, ‘Voice of the Bills’, and color analyst and former Bills Pro Bowl center Eric Wood. However, one of the bigger changes is that Steve Tasker will take over as the Sideline Reporter.
“It’s exciting to know that we have a group that is very familiar working on air with one another,” Brown said. “Steve bringing 20 years of network experience to the broadcast is going to be valuable to our product. We’re committed to delivering the best possible broadcast we can for our fans, and I’m confident our team will be able to make good on that.”
“I was honored and excited to be asked to join the broadcast team as the sideline reporter,” Tasker said. “It’s a new stadium with a great team to watch. What could be better! Where else would you rather be?”
