The West Coast Eagles have added experience for Saturday night’s clash against Richmond with Liam Ryan, Tim Kelly and Jack Petruccelle recalled to the line-up.
Ryan has proven his fitness after missing last round’s defeat to Port Adelaide due to soreness, while Kelly is back after a strong display for the WAFL Eagles last round.
The veteran midfielder collected 27 disposals and kicked two goals against West Perth, and Petruccelle (24 disposals) also shone to earn a call up.
Saturday night’s battle will be Petruccelle’s second AFL appearance for the season following the round two trip to the Gabba.
Petruccelle and Ryan replace small forwards Noah Long and Malakai Champion (both omitted) in the team.
Exciting young midfielder Elijah Hewett has been managed.
Champion, wingman Jayden Hunt and key defender Sandy Brock are the emergencies for the 6.10pm bouncedown at Optus Stadium.
The Eagles will be hunting their second victory for the season against the similarly youthful Tigers, who edged West Coast in a two-point MCG thriller last time the teams met in round nine.
Saturday night’s clash will be broadcast live in WA on Channel 7 and 7-plus, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
