That’s been the motto of Most Valuable Promotions, co-founded by Jake Paul, and they say they’re backing it up with financial guarantees for the combatants.

All 22 fighters on the Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano fight card will make a minimum of $40,000 apiece, according to Nakisa Bidarian, who is co-founder and CEO of MVP.

That amount will represent only a fraction of the payout for Rousey, the former UFC champion, and Carano, former MMA stalwart, with Netflix streaming the 11-card event.

Rousey will surpass boxer Amanda Serrano as the highest paid female fighter for a single event, according to Bidarian. No figures have been disclosed but it’s safe to say Rousey will be paid millions.

Rousey has said it’ll be the biggest money fight and “Gina are smashing the record for the most women have been paid in combat sports.”

But the $40,000 guarantees are substantial.

The UFC’s typical introductory fighter salary is $12,000 to show and $12,000 to win, according to Drake Riggs of Uncrowned.

While promoting the fight, Rousey tore into UFC, saying the organization has lost its way because of short-term greed and fails to pay a living wage to many of its fighters.
