Collingwood legend Scott Pendlebury’s record-breaking AFL game on Saturday against West Coast at the MCG will be covered from every angle. Literally.

Fox Footy, which will broadcast and produce Saturday’s match, on Wednesday night confirmed a special ‘Pendles Cam’ would be available for the Magpies-Eagles clash, which will see Pendlebury overtake Brent Harvey as the VFL/AFL games record-holder.

Watch every match of every round of the AFL Premiership Season LIVE and ad-break free during play on FOX FOOTY, available on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Join now and get your first month for just $1.

Pendles Cam will be a dedicated camera feed to let fans watch Pendlebury’s every move from before the opening ball-up to when he leaves the arena after Game No.433.

The camera feed, which will be available to watch on Kayo Sports and Channel 507 on Foxtel, will be complemented with live scores and match feed commentary from Fox Footy’s team of experts.

“If you’re as enamoured with Scott as so many are, you can just watch (Channel) 507,” Melbourne legend Garry Lyon told Fox Footy’s AFL 360.

“Wherever he is, there’ll be a dedicated camera on him.

“By the end of the day you should’ve had your fill!”

Seven-time All-Australian Nathan Buckley, who played alongside Pendlebury for two seasons then coached him for 10.5 years, gave fans an insight into what they’ll expect to see on Channel 507.

“You’ll see a lot of pointing and directing, swivelling his head. Considering his position on the field,” Buckley told foxfooty.com.au’s Ben Cotton.

“He directs his teammates into different positions at different times, you’ll see constant movement.

“The camera mightn’t give you reference to see where he on the field as such, but he’ll always be shifting, moving and adjusting to what he’s seeing in the game and where he can impact and influence.

“He handles contests really well and the little show and goes, changes of direction and ball fakes that buy him a bit of time that have become more important for him as he, like everyone else, loses a bit of his athleticism.

“But he more than any has been able to take advantage of his other skillsets to be able to buffer that.”

A crowd of at least 88,000 is expected to fill the MCG on Saturday afternoon for Pendlebury’s grand milestone.

Pendlebury will wear a special jumper that’ll include a golden No.10 and the names of every Collingwood teammate he’s ever played with. He’ll also wear specially-designed boots by his kids, Jax and Daisy, in his record game. The primary colour of the boots are white with splashes of other colours from his kids’ designs, while the bottom and the studs are gold. They feature his kids’ names as well as the words ‘Go Pies,’ ‘SP 433’ and ‘Good Luck’.

Lyon will be in the special comments chair for Fox Footy alongside Jason Dunstall. Anthony Hudson and Mark Howard will call the action, with Cameron Mooney on the boundary. The broadcast will be anchored by the Super Saturday LIVE team of Kath Loughnan, David King, Jack Riewoldt and Jay Clark.

“It’ll be great to be there,” Lyon said.

“Embrace it if you want. If you don’t? You don’t need to run it down.”
