Game Recap: Jets v Rams
Result: Property Brokers Manawatū Jets (93) are defeated by The Wheeler Motor Company Canterbury Rams (100)
The Wheeler Motor Company Canterbury Rams would be in for quite the challenge as they’d be missing the important two-way game of Walter Brown against a surging Property Brokers Manawatū Jets. The story of the first quarter would be the home side taking an early lead off the back of good shots. Jamal Poplar Jr would find himself in foul trouble however and it would give the Rams the opportunity to close the gap. The visiting side would find themselves down only 2 at the end of the first. In the second quarter, the momentum shifted in the Rams favour. Tamenang Choh would turn on and help propel the Rams into a 31-21 quarter and help take a lead that would carry into the third.

The Cook Street Manawatū Jets returned home after dethroning the Whai in Tauranga and giving them their first loss of the season. The Jets team had looked in good form with Hamza Zahran rejoining the Rapid League squad and joining Boston Caldwell in the MVP conversation. With the facilitation of Christian McDaniel, the Jets would take an early lead 6 point lead which the Rams would close. Only 1 point would seperate the two teams squads after the first. They’d trade buckets and again in the second quarter, it’d be seperated by 1 point. The game was close until the Rams pulled away in the fourth quarter, holding the Jets to only 6 points while dropping in 17 of their own.
