Britain’s Got Talent viewers issued the same complaint as a controversial semi-final act stepped on stage

ITV viewers have fumed ‘not again’ as they pondered switching off the latest Britain’s Got Talent episode.
The last semi-final round of this year’s competition aired on Saturday (May 23), and saw eight acts battling it out for a spot in the grand finale.
Among them was stunt couple Baron and Vesper, who have gained attention with their dangerous aerial choreography. Their act centres around Baron using hooks attached to his nipples to lift his real-life partner Vesper into the air.
Before the couple could even showcase their semi-final performance, ITV viewers complained that they couldn’t sit through another choreography from the duo.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one said: “Oh no, can’t watch this horror act again #BGT #BritainsGotTalent!”
A second viewer questioned whether the risqué act is appropriate for family viewing. “This is not family entertainment, if they are saying ‘don’t try this at home’ it shouldn’t be shown #ogt #britainsgottalent,” they said.
Yet another viewer critiqued: “Alesha: “Well, that was difficult to watch!” You can say that again! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”
While a fourth chimed in: “Bring on the complaints for this act #britainsgottalent.”
However, others were still impressed by the contestants’ talent. “Baron and Vesper is spellbinding & sickening equally. What a remarkably unique act,” said an audience member.

The unique duo also failed to win the judging panel over with their final gig. Judge Alesha Dixon admitted the performance “didn’t do it” for her. Co-star Amanda Holden agreed, but she applauded the pair’s bravery.
“It’s extraordinary. You’re fearless and you’re very courageous to do something like that,” Amanda said. “I applaud you, I applaud your bravery.”
Meanwhile, KSI described their final act as “meh”. Baron and Vesper ultimately didn’t make it into the final, landing in seventh place following the public vote.
The Season 19 winner will be crowned next Saturday, May 30, during a live show airing on ITV1.
