Result: Mills Albert Wellington Saints (107) defeat Big Barrel Hawke’s Bay Hawks (79)
The Wellington Saints got off to a strong start behind the shooting of Elijah Pepper and the all-around playmaking of Carlin Davison, helping the Saints to a 24-12 lead at quarter time. Pepper finished with a game-high scoring performance, while Davison recorded a triple-double to lead the Saints on both ends of the floor.
The Hawkes Bay Hawks would eventually cut the lead through the attacking play of Jackson Ball and Keanu Rasmussen, but Wellington responded with another big third-quarter run and sealed the 107-79 result on the back of Pepper’s perimeter shooting and Davison’s complete floor game.

Hassan Munir and Aubrey Chunga made key plays late as the Saints controlled the fourth quarter defensively to seal the result. Jacob Murphy and Tommy Fergusson led the Hawks offensively in a tightly contested matchup that remained close throughout the second half.
