Under the motto ‘Made for Winners – Loved by Thousands’, swissQprint used the platform of the recent Fespa Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona to showcase how print service providers can run production efficiently and differentiate themselves in the market with versatile applications. Hands-on demonstrations were given to attendees to show this in a practical context.
The high-end swissQprint Kudu flatbed printer
Live demos with the high-end Kudu flatbed printer and the Karibu 2 roll-to-roll printer formed the centrepiece of the stand. Both machines produced a mix of everyday applications and value-added work, including neon prints, colour-changing effects, and tactile finishes. Conversations with industry professionals confirmed a clear trend: in today’s market, differentiated applications are becoming increasingly important for many print businesses.
swissQprint chief sales and maketing officer Carmen Eicher said, “Our customers look for versatility in applications, but also for reliable performance and investment security. That’s exactly what we focus on”.
Distributor Pozitive sign & graphic supplies managing director Phil Trumble, who was at Fespa Barcelona, said, “Whether it’s hotel reception signage, wall art graphics, artist reproductions – or a whole range of different kinds of textures – all of this can be done with absolute precision on a swissQprint machine.
“I guess that comes back to the slogan of ‘Made for Winners – Loved by Thousands’. Everybody that has a swissQprint machine is absolutely thrilled with the type of output and quality that they’re able to produce. Whether that’s a machine from 2007 or the very latest generation from 2026 – right across the range, swissQprint is renowned for that high quality and reliability – but also being able to push the boundaries when it comes to wide format printing. swissQprint does things that nobody else is doing and comes up with ideas that nobody else has thought of yet – and that’s exactly what we’re showing here at Fespa.”

Reliable technology as a foundation
swissQprint’s technology is designed with day-to-day production in mind, ensuring consistent results and stable processes, even at high speeds. All printers are developed and manufactured entirely at the company’s headquarters in Switzerland, where mechanical, electronic, software and ink expertise are brought together. The systems are engineered for long service life, with the majority of installed machines still in daily use after more than a decade.
Eicher explained, “High uptime and low maintenance requirements are key in daily operations. They enable predictable processes and have a direct impact on running costs”.
As well, additional investment security comes from swissQprint’s 36-month factory warranty, which is above the industry norm.
The broad swissQprint printer portfolio supports a wide range of business models, from signage companies to industrial print operations. With up to 10 configurable colour channels, systems can be tailored to specific applications, including white, varnish, or neon inks.
The modular design also allows systems to be expanded step by step and adapted as requirements evolve. This concept provides a basis for planned investment and long-term growth.
