Suki Waterhouse may be living out Twilight fanfic at home, but did you know she’s also experienced a real-life Heated Rivalry fantasy? In an interview published Thursday, Suki Waterhouse told Variety that she spent the Met Gala catching up with Connor Storrie. As an aside, the magazine mentions that Storrie also “recently comforted her on a turbulent plane ride.” “I was sort of clutching onto him the whole time,” Waterhouse said.
Excuse me?! Immediately, I’m jealous of this situation. I’m not even afraid of turbulence, but if I happened to be experiencing it while sitting next to Connor Storrie on a plane, I’d obviously pretend for him.
Online, some of Storrie’s die-hard fans — who are really proud of him for being so chivalrous — pointed out that he mentioned being afraid of planes during a Golden Globes interview. This, of course, makes him sound even more brave in Waterhouse’s anecdote. Connor, this is my submission to teach you how to not fear turbulence. Give me ten minutes!
