ST KILDA has claimed a fourth straight win, holding off Essendon by two points in a thriller at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.

In a contest that was close throughout, the Saints claimed an 11.11 (77) to 11.9 (75) victory for their ninth win of 2025.

The loss was the Bombers’ 11th straight as their tough finish to the season continued.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (24 disposals and a goal) starred again for the Saints, while Jack Steele (27 and seven clearances) and Rowan Marshall (18 and a goal) were good.

Mason Redman (36 disposals) and Andrew McGrath (35) led the way for the injury-hit Bombers, with the former missing with a flying shot from outside 50 with just seconds remaining.
