The NFL is excited to see Taylor Swift’s appearance on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights.” That much is clear from the way the league has reacted to the development so far.
On Monday, “New Heights” announced that Swift will be their guest for a special episode set to drop on Wednesday.
When the show initially teased the news and many speculated that Swift would be the guest, the NFL couldn’t help but comment on it, using eyes and thinking emojis to express its curiosity. Then after it was confirmed, the league reacted again and wrote, “EVERYBODY STAY CALM.”
Sure enough, the NFL didn’t stop there.
NFL Proves To Be a True Swiftie
On its official Instagram account, the NFL reposted the video from “New Heights” confirming Swift’s appearance on the show. The clip showed both Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs star boyfriend interacting sweetly, before the pop star ended it with a message, saying, “We are doing a [expletive] podcast.”
The NFL, for its part, captioned the post: “It’s happening.”
Sure enough, the NFL’s reaction and its way of promoting the episode turned a lot of heads. While some were not happy because the post was not about football, there were more positive reactions, with many expressing their delight.
“I love being a swiftie and football fan right now,” a fan wrote. Another one noticed, “‘It’s the color of your eyes sweetie’ they are so cute.”

A fourth commenter added, “THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE SHES SO CUTE.”

“New Heights” released a clip from the special episode where Swift showed the album cover to Jason Kelce while she was sitting beside Travis Kelce. Swift’s website has since started the “pre pre-order” for the album, although a release date has yet to be revealed.
It’s unknown what else Swift will talk about in the show, but the wait shouldn’t be too long with the episode dropping soon. Fans can watch it on YouTube and listen to it on various streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Audible and through the Wondery app.
