THE Australian Financial Review has released its 2026 Rich List, with several motorsport connections among the top 200.
Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit owner Lindsay Fox heads the motorsport list with $5.57 billion, ahead of Laurence Escalante, the backer/owner of Arise Racing’s Ferrari GT program.
From Supercars circles, Erebus Motorsport owner Betty Klimenko comes in at number 52 overall, while Tony Walls, father of Triple Eight driver Jackson Walls, is number 191.
Tony Perich (Oran Park), Paul Little (Toll), the Shahin family (The Bend) and Justin Hemmes (former production car driver) figure prominently.
LMCT+ owner Adrian Portelli is valued at $1.44 billion, then there’s automotive importer and former touring car ace Neville Crichton, Con Markis, the father of Australian Prototype Series racer Jason Makris, and the Dymond family, who own Penrite Oil.
Topping the list overall is Gina Rinehart with $39.01 billion in wealth.
