The Broncos have another terrible first half in which they scored just 2 points as the Dragons dominate to lead 14-2.
The Broncos made seven errors and the Dragons five – it’s not been great quality football despite the players out there.
The Dragons have been good – they’ve run the ball hard up the middle, dominating the middle and forcing turnovers against a Broncos team that simply haven’t looked up to it so far.
A big second half to come for the Broncos, and the Dragons, who haven’t won any of their last 15 NRL games dating back to last season.

That’s rubbish from the Dragons!
Moses Suli ran across the line as a kick goes deep, where it’s comfortably dealt with by Setu Tu.
Suli held out the arm and Reece Walsh went down like 2010-era Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s a penalty to the Broncos – the softest of soft penalties to give away.
The siren goes so this will be the Broncos scoring chance off the tee…

That’s some catch by Setu Tu, following the ball back over his shoulder to make a good catch.
The Broncos come flying in but Brendan Piakura is offside.
This has been an awful 40 from the Broncos, from a discipline aspect and a general play aspect.

Another poor error!
This time it’s the Broncos and Reece Walsh looking to make things happen inside the attacking 20.
He scoots across field, does some really nice moves and then throws a poor, unsighted flick pass straight into the hands of
Mathew Feagai.
The Dragons escape and the unmistakable sound of frustration echoes around Lang Park from the Broncos faithful.

He is taken by a swinging arm by Clint Gutherson – which was noted by the referee.
Did Karapani get over the line? No, he drops it.
The Broncos will have a penalty 10 metres out.
It was a very staccato, clunky set by the Broncos in all truth – they don’t look sharp.

He has spent the entire time that the Dragons had that penalty getting his left ankle looked it.
The Broncos have strapped him up over the top of his bright yellow boot and he will be able to continue.
He’s not moving very well though.

Brendan Piakura absolutely nails Daniel Atkinson as he kicks from inside the 40.
It looked OK to be honest in terms of timing…
Setu Tu
has taken great offence to that though and starts a little skirmish with the Bronco forward.
The referee says it’s gone a bit high – indirect high contact is the ruling from the referee.
That makes sense – the shot itself was fine.
The Dragons have a penalty and are going to kick it.

18′ Corey Paix loses the ball, Broncos challenge successfully
Corey Paix mopped up a bouncing ball after the Dragons knocked a kick bomb backwards.
He then spins out of a tackle and runs up field, only for Clint Gutherson to strip him of the ball one-on-one.
The Broncos are going to challenge this.
It’s a great challenge too, to be fair, Gutherson did strip the ball, knocking it backwards, and then Paix regathered it.
