And KAT, the confidence with which he’s playing with is just genuinely beautiful to watch.
I, I thought aside from the buckets, aside from the way he’s just attacking those closeouts, blowing by Victor Wembanyama, aside from the defense, put that all aside, the play-making he, he is showing, the pass he made, he grabbed a offensive board in the second or third quarter underneath the rim, and it like, it looked like he was looking up at the rim for a put back, and then suddenly he just wrapped the ball around four Spurs defenders for a corner three.

And I’m like, this dude is just seeing the game at a slow level.
It is moving in slow motion for him.
And through these two games, Karl-Anthony Towns, in my opinion, is very clearly the finals MVP through two games.
We’ll see how the remainder of the series goes, but KAT has just been sensational, and he is outplaying Victor We- Wembanyama on both ends of the floor.
He looks like a fully realized version of himself.
And I, I mean, for a guy that has taken so many hits over the years for this reason or that reason, whether it’s the way he acts or whether it’s some of the mistakes he’s made, some of the playoff failures.

Last year, I’ll tell you what, I was one of the people that thought the Knicks should probably try to trade Karl-Anthony Towns in the summer.
I thought he might be holding them back on both ends, especially defensively.
I mean, he’s making me and a lot of other people eat their words because of the way he is performing now, and I– Good for him, man.
Like, I’m, I’m rooting for that guy.
It’s hard not to root for him, the way he’s been vulnerable talking about the loss of his mother and, and what that means for him.
