F1 tycoon fined $23,000 in Singapore gift scandal (BBC)

‘A Singapore-based billionaire has been fined $23,400 (S$30,000; £17,251) after he had earlier pleaded guilty to a charge connected to a gift scandal that shocked the country last year. Hotel tycoon Ong Beng Seng had admitted to abetting the obstruction of justice by helping ex-transport minister Subramaniam Iswaran cover up evidence while the latter was being investigated for corruption. Ong gave expensive gifts, including an all-expenses paid trip with a private jet ride, to Iswaran while they were engaged in official business.’

Hamilton’s Ferrari F1 dream now hinges on 2026 (Motor Sport)

”I’m working with Loïc (Serra, technical director of chassis) and the whole crew on next year’s front suspension and rear suspension. Addressing the understeer issues, making sure we’re learning from previous years and also what we’re learning from this year, so that next year is the best that we’ve ever had. That’s my main focus.”

Sebastian Montoya on his father Juan Pablo Montoya’s hero status (F1)

”In terms of my own career, having him as my dad changes a lot of things. But in the end, that’s the way I’ve always seen things in motorsports and that’s what I’m used to. It is what it is and that’s what I’ve got to experience. It’s a lot different to the other guys. I’ve always been seen a bit differently and talked about differently because of my dad and being the son of a ‘name’ in the sport. I’ve never really seen a negative side to it. That’s just what I’m used to, but for me, I see it as a huge plus. I have my dad as my coach, and him being one of the greatest drivers in motorsport history, not just in F1, it makes it really cool having him there and having him supporting me along the way.”

Who holds Hulkenberg’s F1 records in its primary feeder series? (Formula Scout)

‘Hulkenberg recently lost his record for the most F1 race starts without a podium by setting a new record for the most starts before a maiden podium finish. Who has the equivalent in F1’s primary feeder series?’

Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept: Unveiled (Gran Turismo via YouTube)

‘The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo is powered by an E-Fuel/Electric Hybrid system consisting of two front E-motors, and one rear E-motor paired with a small displacement, high-revving twin-turbo V8, providing performance and range for endurance racing. The CX.R Vision Gran Turismo interior is intentionally designed for track use. The geometry and seat’s lightweight minimal foam trim provide head and neck support for the extreme cornering forces the car would handle on a racetrack. The steering wheel uses physical buttons and knobs for better usability with racing gloves.’
