Ramon Cardenas’ effort to position for another junior-featherweight championship bout has been boosted by him landing a WBC interim title shot versus recent title challenger Sam Goodman.
Cardenas co-manager Mike Miller and ProBoxTV founder Garry Jonas confirmed to BoxingScene Monday that Texas’ Cardenas, 27-2 (15 KOs), will meet Australia’s Goodman, 22-1 (8 KOs), on the July 25 (U.S. time) Errol Spence Jr-Tim Tszyu Prime Video pay-per-view card in Australia.
