NFL analyst Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report believes the Green Bay Packers‘ current Super Bowl window is “2-6 years.”
The Packers haven’t won a Super Bowl since the 2010 season and their last playoff win was during the 2023 season.

However, with Jordan Love entering his prime, Gagnon believes Green Bay is a contender.
“The 27-year-old Jordan Love is in his prime and under contract for the next few years, and the Packers are already a perennial playoff team,” Gagnon wrote. “They’re far from a crossroads, but things get tricky if they can’t deliver the next two years and Love is slated to count $74.2 million against the cap in 2028.”
Love has turned into a solid QB under Matt LaFleur, but the Packers aren’t paying Love to be solid. They are paying him to be a superstar. Love signed a four-year, $220 million contract with Green Bay in 2024.
The 27-year-old Love finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes. The Packers went 9-7-1 and lost to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the 2026 NFL playoffs.

Love enters next season with 11,535 passing yards and 83 passing touchdowns. He’s 27-20-1 as a starter.
The Packers lost Romeo Doubs to the New England Patriots in free agency and traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. Without Wicks and Doubs, Green Bay has Tucker Kraft, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, Skyy Moore, Jakobie Keeney-James, Isaiah Neyor and Will Sheppard on its roster for Love to target.
Love and Green Bay haven’t won a playoff game since 2023, but Love is viewed by his peers as a franchise guy. Don’t believe me? Just ask newcomer Zaire Franklin.
“It starts with the quarterback,” Franklin told NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. “Jordan Love. I told him he was the main reason I came to Green Bay. I wasn’t coming to Green Bay or going to an organization without a proven franchise QB. He is that. He’s the type of quarterback you want to be around. Great manner in the locker room, competes his ass off, is constantly working to get better. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a QB1 just really raising the level of everybody by his work ethic like that. It’s really dope to see.”

The Packers open the 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings. It’s time for Love to play like an MVP, especially since Micah Parsons will miss the start of the campaign recovering from his ACL tear.
